    I get your struggle.

Hi, I’m Shazzy — an experienced Credentialed Mental Health Nurse with lived experience. I understand the weight and frustration of feeling like there’s more out there for you, but not knowing where to turn first.

My mission is simple: to give you the wellness education, tools, and support you need to feel healthy, grounded, and capable of managing life’s pressures. My clients come from all walks of life — professionals, parents, carers, and rural community members — many of whom have felt like they had nowhere safe to turn.

I’ll be here for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward toward where you want to be in life. I can also help advocate for you or your child when needed. For those I see who are practitioners themselves, I offer a space of absolute discretion.

As an experienced speaker, trainer, and lecturer, I also write and present professional development, training, and seminars tailored to the specific needs of organisations, schools, and workplaces on a wide range of topics.

I also take on selected pro bono community and charity work, so please reach out if your organisation needs support.

From policy reviews to practical training, my focus is on helping workplaces move beyond compliance — creating cultures where people feel safe, valued, and able to thrive.

Shazzy Tharby is an amazing therapist that I grant my most heartfelt and deepest recommendation. I had fit together so many pieces of my jigsaw puzzle together, yet the picture did not emerge and I could not find out why. Low and behold, through her open exploration and holistic approach, she found a whole piece of the puzzle was missing! Imagine your life as a jigsaw puzzle that you didn't realize was 3D, struggling with a blurry 2D image that you couldn't decipher when someone shows you a whole other dimension you were missing. I was instantly comfortable with her, so the suggestion of the missing piece, that would otherwise seem counterintuitive, was a possibility I openly considered, followed by an epiphany of memory after memory that finally made sense. Whether your concerns are professional, personal, or both, I guarantee that Shazzy Tharby is one you want in your corner to examine the problem with a spirited curiosity and innovative exploration of solving your issue. I am eternally grateful to her services.

Shazzy’s knowledge of neurodiversity is incredible! I loved our session and how she could draw on her living experience and give me great practical guide on how to approach my situation. It felt like I’ve known Shazzy for years during the first session. Very compassionate, non judgemental, direct and to the point. Look forward to more sessions!

Shazzy is hands down one of the best counsellors that I've had the pleasure to work with. Shazzy's knowledge, expertise and dedication for her clients is second to none. Shazzy has proven herself to be a pivotal figure in the mental health industry, especially helping client's with Neurodiverse Traits and client's with a disability. Shazzy is very passionate about her work and the mental health industry which is one of the many reasons why I look forward to working together and help take the mental health industry to the next level. Keep up the great work Shazzy, I am very excited to continue to work together.

I recently found a post from Shazzy and I reached out to her. After years of not being able to progress in my career, knowing I am good at what I do, can do anything I put my mind to and getting knock back after knock back at work in a male orientated industry, I found myself wondering if I am Neurodiverse. It turns out I have high functioning ASD and ADHD. I reached out to Shazzy for some guidance, thinking she lives in the UK, but actually now lives in Australia. She helped me immensely. She made me realise it isn't me or my fault as to why I am getting nowhere and I am just misunderstood. I felt so much better after our sessions and she has referred me on to get a full diagnosis. Thank you so much for all your help, support and guidance. I really appreciate everything. Thank you.

Shazzy is an A+ human and practitioner I’d recommend wholeheartedly, who's actively and compassionately listened to my concerns with a nigh-on-supernatural ability to ask just the right questions at the most pivotal times, giving me the voice to elaborate on feelings previously unspoken. Shazzy's also a resourceful practitioner, taking great initiative in fully equipping their clients to deal with the realities of our institutions, workplaces, and lives generally; and their intersectional approach means they’re sensitive to people of all backgrounds (myself being neurodiverse and LGBTQ+) and can segue amongst a myriad of topics, adaptive to anyone’s circumstances (long-, medium-, or short-term). Thanks for everything Shazzy!

I’ve tried counselling over the past 15 years with various counsellors without much success or self improvement. I can’t even begin to find the words to explain how much Shazzy has changed my life over the past year and for the better. I feel like I have a solid understanding of myself and have now begun to recognise the patterns in behaviours and solutions that work for both myself and in relationships. I’ve still have a ways to to go (I have a lot to unpack) but I am on the path to self love and healing from past traumas. I am eternally grateful to have researched and chose Shazzy as my now entrusted mental health specialist. Thank you for everything you’ve helped me with so far and look forward to our continued collaboration towards a brighter future for myself and my family.

It’s rare to come across someone like Shazzy Tharby, a leader whose integrity is as strong as her impact.

During her time as Chair of People with Disabilities WA, Shazzy brought something that’s often missing in leadership: genuine care. She didn’t just lead with lived experience, she led with clarity, compassion, and courage, especially when it would have been easier to stay quiet.

As a staff member navigating a rapidly shifting and often complex advocacy landscape, I felt seen and supported by Shazzy in ways I hadn’t experienced before. Her ability to cut through noise, ask the hard questions, and advocate for structural change while still holding space for the humanity of her team was nothing short of powerful.

She challenged the status quo with grace. She uplifted emerging voices, including mine — with intention. And she reminded all of us that justice work shouldn’t cost us our wellbeing.

Shazzy’s leadership created ripples far beyond the boardroom. I’m better for having worked alongside her, and the sector is stronger for the example she sets.

If you're looking for someone to bring fierce integrity, deep insight, and a truly values-aligned approach to leadership, Shazzy is the real deal.

I have had the privilege of working with Shazzy for three years now and could not have asked for anything more from a mentor of their calibre

They have guided me at vital and formative parts of my career and helped me to build my future with professionalism and authenticity.

With their regular support, as well as timely urgent support when required, I've been able to navigate challenges and growth with such a reduced burden that I couldn't have imagined doing it without them.

Shazzy has helped me launch programs for my community, further my skills as a clinician, and come into my own as a public speaker and figure within my community.

I strongly recommend them for their capacity as a supervisor and mentor.

I recommend Shazzy as a speaker about neurodivergence and mental health.

Shazzy spoke at the Intersectionality panel event I chaired during Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2024 to a global audience of over 6000.

They brought a wealth of experience, knowledge and insight to the event, and spoke engagingly, with credibility and humanity, and with a clear and soothing voice.

They were also super reliable, insightful and supportive to me personally while I was putting the event together, liaising with the panelists, scripting the introduction and questions etc.

    Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
